What is Nasolabial Lines?
The nasolabial folds run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Everyone has them, they are a normal anatomical boundary, but they deepen with age as midface volume descends and the skin above the fold loses support. Treatment aims to soften the shadow, not to erase the fold.
How does Nasolabial Lines treatment work?
A soft to medium hyaluronic acid filler is placed along the fold, and often the underlying cause is addressed first by supporting the cheek above it. Filling the fold alone can look heavy, which is why we assess the midface as a whole and frequently recommend treating the cheek to lift the tissue, then refining what remains.
